Renting a boat should be as simple and smooth as renting a car. Our rental boats are never older than three years and are carefully reviewed before each rental. The boats are well equipped, and insurance is always included in the rent. You don\u2019t need any nautical exam or papers to rent a boat but some experience is recommended.<\/p>

As captain of the boat, you are responsible for ensuring that the boat is driven in a reassuring manner and that you have the experience and competence required. We always offer a customized shorter training on how to handle the boat when you pick it up at the marina.<\/p>

During the rental time a berth is always available to use at the marina.<\/p>

Rental time<\/h3>

You can hire jet skies and SUP by the hour and more, boats from a day to a whole summer*.<\/p>

The most popular weeks are nr. 27 to 31 so make sure you book early if this is the time you have in\nmind.<\/h5>

The price depends on how long you rent the boat.<\/p>

How to book<\/h4>

You make a reservation and pay 10% of the amount of the total rent online. The remaining of the\nrental amount is paid at pick-up.
Under \"Book a rental boat\"<\/a>available boats are listed with their\nspecifications and prices.

Pick-up<\/h4>

Once at the Marina, contact the chandlery. Our knowledgeable staff always gives an overview of the\nrental boat and its equipment. This is also a opportunity to ask questions and get tips on routes and\ndestinations.<\/p>

Pick-up time:\nMonday to Sundays from kl 09.00 AM.<\/p>

Return of boat<\/h4>

Upon return, we go through the boat together to see that there has been no damage or abnormal\nwear. The boat is returned fully refuelled, which is easily done at Grundsunds Marina. The boat\nshould also not be returned abnormally untidy.<\/p>

Return time is Monday to Sundays before 6:00 PM<\/p>

Insurance, deductible and deposit<\/h4>

The rental boats are insured against sea damage, liability and theft provided that the boat is locked\nwhen not in use.<\/p>

A deposit corresponding to the deductible of SEK 5,000* is paid upon pick-up and is refunded upon return if the boat is without damage. A damage valued less than the deposited amount is deducted from the deposit upon repayment of the deposit.\u00a0<\/p>

Changes or cancellations<\/span><\/h5>

You can change och cancel your rental until 24 hours before pick-up time against a fee of 10% of the total cost of the rental.
\nIf cancelled later than 24 hours before the agreed start of the rental, 100% of the cost of the rental will be charged.
\nNo booking fee is charge if the cancellation occurs because You are prevented from traveling according to government regulations or is ill (medical certificate required) as a result of Covid-19 or\nother comparable pandemic.<\/p>
